RailPros Hires Doug Sawyer to Lead Southern California Operations

RailPros is pleased to announce that it has hired Doug Sawyer as Vice President of its Southern California Operations. Established in 2000, RailPros provides professional services for the rail industry both regionally and nationally.

Mr. Sawyer will be responsible for client management and project oversight in Southern California. Headquartered in Irvine, CA, RailPros employs over 90 professionals, providing services to clients including LA Metro, Metrolink (SCRRA), OCTA, SANDAG, SBCTA, the Port of Long Beach, BNSF, and UPRR.

Prior to joining RailPros, Mr. Sawyer was a Senior Vice President and area manager for large firms including Parsons Brinckerhoff. He has 39 years of office leadership, business development, and project management experience, with a strong background in rail transit, grade separations, and railroad projects. Additionally, he has experience in roads and bridges, ports, airports, tunnels, land development, and other facilities, bringing a new level of capability to the RailPros portfolio.

Mr. Sawyer received his BSCE degree from Virginia Tech and is active in industry organizations such as AREMA, WTS, APWA, CMAA, and ASCE.
