Lumberton Siding

RailPros Field Services was tasked by BNSF to do an initial assessment for the best location for the potential design of a meet siding on the Gulf Division, Silsbee Subdivision outside of Beaumont, Texas. RPFS, in coordination with the BNSF engineering staff, reviewed various locations that best fit the needs for placement of a siding track. The evaluations were based on whether or not right-of-way was a factor, structures impacts, curves, and grade crossings. Upon review, the best fit location was determined and RPFS designed the construction documents. The subsequent design was successfully completed and met BNSF’s time constraints. The project has recently been out for bid and is currently preparing for construction.
