Enid Yard Velocity Evaluations

The BNSF was experiencing issues on the Avard Subdivision with the movement of main lines trains passign through the Enid Yard area. RailPros Field Services was tasked with reviewing the location of the yard tracks and main tracks coming into the yard to assess options where main line train speeds. It was the plan to determine if velocity of main line through trains could be improved and modifications made that would allow yard operations to continue where there were not conflicting with main line trains. RPFS inspected the yard, determined options that allow continued yard switching and main line operations to pass through without conflicting with each other. The main line tracks were surveyed, new ML track alignments were designed, alternate switching leads suggested and exhibits presented and costing to make these improvements were successfully completed
