RailPros Field Services managed and provided engineering services for this rail served facility for NGL Energy Partners. This project consisted of expanding previous phases, which were designed by RailPros, to include the extension of five industry tracks, relocating turnouts to the end of these tracks in order to connect them back together, and a tail track for switching cars. The future full build out of this facility will consist of a unit train loop and wye track for a single unit train. Preliminary profiles were developed for these future tracks. Plans, profiles, and typical sections were developed for the proposed tracks. UPRR 10% design prints, construction plans, and Exhibit ‘A’ were developed and submitted to UPRR for review and approval. The storing of propane is a fast growing industry. In order to meet ever expanding needs, NGL requires expedited design and construction to meet their budget and time frame. NGL has had RPFS do three phases now, without going to bid, because they know we will meet their time frame with our designs and get them through the UPRR system. We have never overrun any of the budgets for NGL.
