Dixon Myers is a business oriented HR leader with over 25 years of experience in small, medium, and large organizations; including Bombardier, Staples and TotalFina. In such diverse industries, he excelled in transportation, manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, and distribution sectors. He held the lead HR role in three of those organizations and has broad generalist experience in all HR disciplines including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development, organizational development, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and administration. Selected accomplishments include successfully leading staffing efforts for high growth entities; leading the HR aspects of several mergers, acquisitions and startups including affiliate start-ups with offices in US, Canada, and UK; numerous benefits plan design changes resulting in either benefit improvements, cost savings or both; coordinating numerous operational changes resulting in increase productivity and reduced labor costs; lead HR aspects of numerous corporate and business Unit reorganizations; numerous payroll, HRIS, ESS system implementations and conversions, transitioning workforce through related process changes within prescribed deadlines.
