Dallas – August 27, 2025 – Irving, TX-based RailPros announced today that it has purchased Track Guy Consultants founded by renowned rail industry expert John Zuspan. With more than 40 years of experience in track construction, safety and training, Zuspan will continue to support RailPros, ensuring integration of his expertise into RailPros’ expanding training portfolio.
Track Guy Consultants was founded by Zuspan in 2004 and provided services to railroad contractors, transit agencies, railroads, suppliers, transportation contractors and more. Training topics covered everything from trackwork 101 to railroad safety. Zuspan also has deep partnerships within the rail industry with groups like the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) where he is a hall of fame member, to AREMA, APTA, and the American Society for Training and Development. He will work with RailPros to integrate his course library into the company’s robust existing library of safety and supplemental safety and training courses.
