Norfolk Southern has selected RailPros to manage a portion of its Land Lease Portfolio
Dallas – October 16, 2024 – Irving, TX-based RailPros announced today that Norfolk Southern (NS) has awarded the company a multi-year contract for the administrative management of a portion of the NS Land Lease Portfolio. The new contract, which is effective today, will transition the application process to RailPros’ fully online application management system.

Our team is fully committed to providing additional support and training for all lessees during the transition and throughout the program term.”
RailPros assumed responsibility for NS’ Pipe and Wire Program in May of 2020 and has grown to include support for Right of Entry and Environmental Right of Entry Programs across the NS rail system.
The Land Lease Applications and Management Program will utilize a custom, innovative, and transparent online application intake and portfolio management system, which already serves NS’ Pipe and Wire Program. The proprietary, cloud-based, web-enabled management software provides a workflow management mechanism designed to increase efficiency and accuracy for NS and applicants alike. The online management system is very intuitive and easy to use for lessees and the railroad.
NS and RailPros will work together to ensure that the transition process to this new system and procedure is as seamless as possible. The RailPros team will be available during and after the transition to answer questions and provide guidance to lessees.
