Daniel Carter is the Chief Legal and People Officer at RailPros, where he leads the company’s Legal, Human Resources, and Talent functions. His focus is building high-performing, engaged teams and fostering a culture rooted in care, accountability, and alignment.
Daniel is known for his people-first leadership style, prioritizing open dialogue, listening to diverse perspectives, and turning feedback into meaningful action that strengthens organizational culture. He is passionate about developing talent, enhancing employee engagement, and creating an environment where individuals can both do their best work and feel genuinely valued.
With more than a decade of experience spanning legal strategy and talent leadership, Daniel partners with executive leadership to align business objectives with a strong, cohesive culture, ensuring that people remain at the center of RailPros’ growth and success.
His leadership has been recognized with The Dallas Business Journal’s HR Impact Award (2025) and D CEO’s Corporate Counsel Award (2023, 2024), reflecting his commitment to advancing both the people and legal functions within the organization.
He has a Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of South Florida.
