Senior Vice President, West Engineering Operations

Doug Sawyer has more than 35 years in area/regional management, project management and business development experience on a wide variety of transportation, infrastructure, and facility projects. The projects he has worked on have included rail transit, railroads, highways, bridges, interchanges, grade separations, airports, pipelines, tunnels, power plants, and educational facilities. He has a long history of growing or resurrecting business operations throughout California and other states. At RailPros, Doug serves as the West Region Director, managing five offices and 125 staff ‑ responsible for PM, design, CM, and inspection services. To date, this represents 140 contracts or task orders, and a three‑year backlog of work throughout California. Prior to joining RailPros, Doug managed a full‑service, 75 person office in the Inland Empire, representing more than 65 active contracts and 40 clients for planning, design, PM, CM, and TDM services at revenues of over $15 million per year. Doug manages the Southern California Area, including staffing, contractual duties, accounting, business development, client relations, and operations. Doug also serves as Contract Principal on several major contracts.
