TOM CROWELL

Mr. Tom Crowell has over 35 years of railroad systems, track, facilities, and passenger stations engineering experience in the design, construction, and project management of both Passenger systems and Class 1 heavy freight. He has a wide range of experience managing rail transportation projects, including the design and construction of track bridges, grade crossings, grade separations, electrification, train control systems, stations, and other railroad support facilities. He has dealt extensively with project stakeholders, resource agencies, and host railroads in the planning, design, and construction of various rail projects throughout Southern California and Nationally. Furthermore, Tom has over 13 years experience on Metrolink projects, working with RailPros and directly for Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) as an employee. He has unmatched familiarity and experience with their system, applicable regulations, and working relationships with key stakeholders. This includes his design review and value engineering work on Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) Perris Valley Line for nearly two years.
