RailPros Provides Track Inspectors to WMATA

Track Inspectors Quickly Mobilized to Fill WMATA’s Needs As a subconsultant to Gannett Fleming, RailPros is providing track inspection services to the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority (WMATA). The agency serves 117 miles of track and provides Metrorail services to 91 stations throughout the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland. RailPros is Honored by ITE for The UDOT Traffic and Saftey Project

RailPros, along with other team participants, was awarded the Utah ITE Project of the Year for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Traffic and Safety Project. The project team included UPRR, UTA, UDOT, Avenue Consultants, and PineTop Engineers. RailPros assisted in writing a new Statewide Railroad Preemption Manual, which includes current industry standards and best practices specific to traffic signal interconnection with the railroad at grade crossings. RailPros joins the Prismatic team for Superstorm Sandy Repair of NYCT Clifton Car Repair Shop

As a subconsultant to the winning Prismatic design-build team, Gotham Engineering, a division of RailPros, has been awarded a contract for the design and construction of the new Clifton Car Repair Shop in Staten Island, N.Y. During Superstorm Sandy in 2012, Staten Island Railway’s only mechanical repair facility, the Clifton MUE Shop, is located on the island’s North Shore – just feet away from the New York Narrows – and sustained extensive damage as a result of a 6-foot storm surge. RailPros Awarded the CDOT Railroad Manual Project

RailPros was recently awarded the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) Railroad Manual Update Project. The project duties include rewriting the 2011 CDOT Railroad Manual to align better with both CDOT and railroad processes and procedures. The update of the 2011 manual will facilitate the delivery of a wide variety of rail related projects in the state.
