BNSF Railway Alliance Main Line #2 Relocation

RailPros Field Services was tasked by BNSF to relocate BNSF Railway Main Line #2 to accommodate the extension of Fort Worth’s Alliance Airport runway. Worked with rails gang and the BNSF Railway signal department throughout the track construction and in-service period involving numerous cut-overs with curfews under live track conditions. Approximately 11.5 miles of a new Main Line #2 and connector to the existing auto facility were constructed. The project design included seven new major bridges (steel and concrete superstructure) as well as cast-in-place and socketed pile retaining walls to minimize right-of-way and underground utility conflicts.
